Acceptable use
These rules keep Quotem a place where published words can be traced back to a real person who agreed to say them.
Record only people who have agreed
Never send a capture link to someone you have not told what it is for, and never record anyone covertly.
Do not publish what was not approved
If someone asks for changes or withdraws, act on it.
Do not impersonate
Do not put words in someone's mouth, attribute content to a person who did not say it, or edit a quote so it no longer reflects what they meant.
Do not upload what is not yours
Only upload recordings and material you have the rights to.
Stay lawful
No unlawful, defamatory, harassing or discriminatory content, and nothing that infringes someone else's rights.
Do not misuse the platform
No attempts to break, probe or overload it, no scraping, no reverse engineering, no reselling access without agreement.
Do not use it to mislead
Quotem exists to make published claims traceable to a real person. Using it to manufacture false authority defeats the point.
