Terms of service
These terms are between Quotem and you, the company that signs up to use it. They are not for the people you invite to record: the invitation they receive, and the privacy notice shown before they record, are the terms that govern their side.
What Quotem does
Quotem captures spoken answers from people you invite, turns them into draft content, and records who approved what before it is published.
Your account
You are responsible for who you let into your account and for what they do with it. Tell us promptly if you think someone has access who should not.
Who is responsible for what
You decide who to invite, what questions to ask, and what gets published. You are the data controller for the recordings your team captures. Quotem provides the technology and acts as a processor on your behalf. You are responsible for having a lawful basis for the capture and for honouring what your contributors agreed to.
The output is a draft
Content is AI-assisted and drafted from real recordings. It is a starting point for a human to check and approve, never a finished piece to publish unread. We do not warrant that any output is accurate, and you remain responsible for anything you publish.
Sign-off is a record, not a warranty
Quotem records who approved which exact wording, when, and a fingerprint of that wording. That is a record of what happened. It is not a legal opinion, not a certification, and not advice about whether anything is compliant, true or safe to publish.
Your own legal wording
You may add your own consent wording for contributors. It is added to Quotem's core statements, never instead of them. You are responsible for anything you add. Quotem does not provide legal advice.
What belongs to whom
You own your recordings, transcripts, generated content and everything captured in your Library, and you can export it. Quotem owns the platform itself. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service for you.
Acceptable use
You must use Quotem in line with our acceptable use rules: /legal/acceptable-use. A serious or repeated breach can lead to suspension.
Fees
To confirm before launch: pricing and payment terms to be confirmed. No price is currently committed.
Ending the agreement
Either side may end it. On request we will give you an export of your data. To confirm before launch: notice periods and export window to be confirmed with counsel.
Liability
To confirm before launch: limitation of liability to be drafted by counsel. Nothing is stated here.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
